We throughly check each cleft for wind damage and moisture content to ensure the raw product is fit for purpose before carefully handcrafting them into some of the best cricket bats on the circuit.
SHAPING THE CLEFT
World Class Willow Director and highly skilled bat maker Mike Kennedy marks up the cleft to the required shape and gets to work. Carefully shaping the cleft individually to the players requirements, then a 4, 6 or 12 piece cane handle is fitted and binded. When finished to Mike's high standards, the bat is branded with World Class Willow's unique, eye catching decals, to whatever the customers' requirements.
No bat will leave the workshop until we are completely happy with it!

The finished bat is of the highest quality, ready to be used by one of our World Class Willow Pro-Team players or a World Class Willow customer.
